History
The history of Knott’s Berry Farm can be traced back to its origins as a regular berry farm and roadside stand that specialized in berry preserves and pies. In 1920, farmer Walter Knott, along with his family, decided to turn their plot of land in Buena Park, California, into a tourist attraction, with shops, stores and a restaurant to attract more visitors to their berry farm business. By the 1940s, the farm had grown into a Western theme park, with rides and other free entertainment. Eventually, it would grow into the successful commercial theme park that it is today.Rides And Attractions
