Gosht Saag Wala



Ingredients

  • Mutton ½ kg
  • Spinach ½ kg
  • Green chilies 6
  • Tomato 1
  • Fenugreek leaves 2 small bunches
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Onion ½ cup (brown)
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric ¼ tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 ½ tsp
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Milk ½ cup
  • Fenugreek 2 tsp (dried)

Cooking Directions

1.      Clean, wash, boil and blend spinach with green chilies, tomatoes and fenugreek leaves, keep aside.
2.      Heat oil add brown onion, ginger garlic paste with all the seasonings and mutton, fry for 10 minutes.
3.      Add in yogurt, fry well.
4.      Add 1 ½ cup water, cover and cook till mutton nearly done.
5.      Add in your blended spinach mixture cover and cook again till oil comes on top.
6.      Lastly add milk and dried fenugreek, fry and remove.
